Meet Shalini Manchanda, MD, FAASM, FCCP

Dr. Shalini Manchanda is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Manchanda has spent her career in academic medicine, first at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and most recently at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSOM) and Indiana University Health (IUH). After initially working in Critical Care and Sleep medicine, she shifted her focus entirely to sleep medicine over the past 17 years. She has served as Director of the Sleep Medicine Program at IUH and the Program Director for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship at IUSOM. Her academic interest is the management of obstructive sleep apnea using hypoglossal nerve stimulation.  She brings with her a broad knowledge base in the management of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, movement disorders, and narcolepsy.  During her career, she has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles. She has outstanding patient satisfaction scores. Dr. Manchanda strives to provide patient-centered care.
